In 2017, Sterling participated with family and friends in the Race for Hope, a 5K walk/run, to raise funds to support research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families.
Since then, we have organized a team in Sterling's name to honor Sterling and help raise funds in support of this important cause. In total, family and friends have raised more than $4,000.
Sterling was diagnosed with glioblastoma – a rare form of brain cancer – on October 13, 2016. His brave and remarkable journey ended on November 27, 2017.
Join us again as we remember Sterling at the Race for Hope on May 3 in Washington, DC, and help raise money for this important cause. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
