2020 Race For Hope DC

Go for Gene

I started this team page in remembrance of my sweet Papa Gene that passed away from brain cancer almost two years ago. Anyone that knew my Papa would say how hardworking he was and how he always lended a hand when it was needed. He grew to love those mountains of Franklin NC with my sweet nana, & the people around him grew to adore him. I consider myself lucky to have had him for 23 years of my life!

Due to Covid-19 The Race for Hope D.C has been moved virtually-and although it hurts my heart that I can't run the 5k this year like last year, we are still able to raise money towards the National Brain Tumor Society.

Each year cancer of all kinds takes people out of this world before we are ready & far to early. I am hopeful for the day that a cure is found & we get to cherish our loved ones on earth a bit longer.

But for now I'll rest peacefully knowing my Papa Gene is looking down on us & I hope he's proud!

Help me raise money for this association I am so passionate about!

The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cushman & Wakefield raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and provide information for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
