Avi Wisnia's Race For Hope Fundraising Page
My brother Dov was one of the most important people in my life, and one of my closest friends. He will always remain in my mind a pretty remarkable guy for several reasons, not least of which being the fact that he continued to live his life as a positive, optimistic guy even after being diagnosed with a tumor in his brain. This time of the year is always the most difficult as this was the time when Dov's brain tumor caused him to slowly lose his ability to move his body and communicate. Dov passed away on October 31, 2012. Yet I will always remember him as that postive, optimistic guy who never stopped living his life to the fullest.
I hope you'll consider donating in some way to support this organization that means so much to me and my family, an organization that helps patients and their families fight what my brother fought for so long, an organization that is searching for an end to brain tumors. This year, during the pandemic, you can donate to be a part of Team Dov as we gather *virtually* on Saturday, October 10 - helping us raise funds and awareness for those affected by brain tumors. Every little bit helps!
