Welcome to My Personal Page
Dear friends and family,
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in December 2017….Glioblastoma Grade IV. This cancer has an extremely low survival rate and there is still NO CURE.
For the past two years, my family and friends were amazingly generous when I reached out for donations for the Race For Hope PA for my team, Team Bald Bubby. Together we raised over $22,000 in 2018 and over 32,000 in 2019! Our team was in the top 5 fundraising teams both years. I didn’t even know if I would make it to or through the event the first year or even the second year. And here I am again. This year we have to top what we have done in the past….all of us living with this disease are counting on you! I am asking you all again to please give whatever you can….no matter how large or small….it all counts and all adds up.
Please register to be on our team AND/OR simply make a donation….or both. Every bit is so deeply appreciated! I know, with your help, we can beat our past two years’ totals and get even closer to a cure!
The Race for Hope PA is to raise awareness about this disease and to raise funds for research for a cure and, this year, especially, to help brain tumor patients during COVID. NBTS is stepping up to make sure the FDA, medical providers and biopharma companies know what patients and caregivers need while dealing with both a brain tumor diagnosis and the pandemic. Bottom line, NBTS would be grateful for additional financial support to be able to keep offering these services to brain tumor patients.
I am uniting again with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors.I need your help in this fight. There are new treatments being discovered all the time, but still NO cure. If you joined our team and/or donated in the past, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources.
