Community members from the Washington DC Metro area, New Jersey, North and South Carolina, San Diego, the Pacific Northwest, Denver and the Bay Area in California are all joining forces for one virtual event to kick-off Brain Tumor Awareness Month
this May! We invite you to join us, especially if you live in an area where you haven't had the opportunity to participate in an NBTS sponsored walk or run.
This past year reminded us just how resilient and passionate this community is. Please join us as we come together, for the first time, as ONE community, to conquer and cure brain tumors — once and for all.
Virtual Event Schedule
May 2, 2021 Location:
streaming live on Facebook
Time: 12pm EDT
On Sunday, May 2, when we would historically host our annual Race for Hope DC, we will host our first-ever National Brain Tumor Walk and Race for Hope DC, where we invite the entire brain tumor community to come together virtually on one day to work toward a common goal. In additional to watching our video program, we invite all participants to walk, run, get on your treadmill, do any activity that feels right for you and your team and share photos and videos on social media using our #NBTSWalk2021 and #NBTSRace2021 hashtags!
If you would like to continue your celebration of the day, you are invited to join David Cook in his continued support of the National Brain Tumor Society as he performs a livestreamed, full-band benefit show for the National Brain Tumor Walk & Race for Hope DC later in the evening on May 2.
