Are dogs allowed at the event?
The pet policy varies based on the rules of the park. When dogs are permitted in the park, the following rules apply: Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Please keep in mind that this is a large event. If your pet does not do well in large crowds, please consider leaving them at home/p>
Can I bring a stroller?
For on-site registrations, please feel free to bring a stroller. The walk route is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Do I need to register my children?
Youth ages 6-17 are required to register and pay the fee. Children ages 5 and under do not need to register for this event. Please note that for 2021, only the first 50 on-site walkers and the first 50 on-site 50-Mile riders will be allowed. We welcome all other individuals to register as a virtual participant. Please plan to register yourself and family members early if you’re looking to take part on-site.
Is there a team registration fee?
There is no fee for setting up a team. Regardless of team participation, each individual must pay the registration fee.
Can I create team T-shirts?
Many teams do create T-shirts. We invite and encourage you to celebrate your team, whether you’re able to take part on-site or you’re participating virtually. T-shirts, hats, costumes, and accessories are all acceptable. Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event.
Can I participate and volunteer?
We will not have volunteers for the 2021 event; however, we welcome you to register as a participant for the event.
