I dedicate this year 2021 Fun Walk to my beautiful angel Andrew. He gained his angel wings on June 5th 2019. While battling cancer he showed all of us what the true meaning of brave really means and also how to be positive. His smile would light up a room , he was such a character. My family and I would like to honor his memory by walking and supporting all of the other cancer families who have also been affected by cancer. 

This year I am walking in the Candlelighters Fun Walk and I would love for you to support me!  I am walking in honor of all the families who face childhood cancer.  I know that Candlelighters makes a difference in the lives of childhood cancer families each and every day.
 
The Fun Walk raises money for Candlelighters annual family camp – a get-a-way for the whole family.  Many camps in Houston offer the child with cancer a getaway, but Candlelighers believes that it is very important for the whole family to come together away from the treatment facilities and their everyday hectic lives. Quality time as a family is essential in their struggle to beat the disease.  The cost to send a camper to camp is approximately $200 and this year they are planning on hosting 250 campers!
