This year I am walking in the Candlelighters Fun Walk and I would love for you to support our family!  I am walking in honor of all the families who face childhood cancer, those who have earned their wings, and our own daughter, Kaelyn, who was diagnosed April of 2018. We celebrate 3 years off treatment this year and couldn't be more blessed to have had Candlelighters make a difference in our lives and now we want to pay it forward in many different ways. Cancer is not just about the patient but also the whole family and Candlelighters makes sure to take the whole family in consideration when giving back. Childhood cancer does not take a break no matter what is going on in the world. Can you imagine having to pay $19 for parking each day your child is in the hospital? With your donations, you can take off some of the financial burdburden these families have to worry about while their child is in treatment 

  
The Fun Walk raises money for Candlelighters annual family camp – a get-a-way for the whole family.  Many camps in Houston offer the child with cancer a getaway, but Candlelighers believes that it is very important for the whole family to come together away from the treatment facilities and their everyday hectic lives. Quality time as a family is essential in their struggle to beat the disease.  The cost to send a camper to camp is approximately $200 and this year they are planning on hosting 250 campers!
