I dedicate this walk to my son Andrew. He gain his angel wings on June 5, 2019. Andrew was a silly, happy, vibrant 7 year old, he always had a smile on his face. He fought hard every day that no matter how his day was going or how he was feeling, when asked how he was, his responce was always "im doing good."  Now he is in heaven playing and running with all of the other angels who like him fought like a warrior all the way to the end. Sometimes real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fightting big battles.  

This year we are walking in the Candlelighters Fun Walk and I would love for you to support us!  We are walking in honor of all the families who face childhood cancer.  Candlelighters makes a difference in the lives of childhood cancer families each and every day.

The Fun Walk raises money for Candlelighters annual family camp – a get-a-way for the whole family.  Many camps in Houston offer the child with cancer a getaway, but Candlelighers believes that it is very important for the whole family to come together away from the treatment facilities and their everyday hectic lives. Quality time as a family is essential in their struggle to beat the disease.  The cost to send a camper to camp is approximately $200 and this year they are planning on hosting 250 campers!
