There are too many children and adults left out of many activities and opportunities due to them struggling with all of the complications of their autism. Many of us have no idea what it is like to have a child, brother, sister, parent or friend that has autism. There are many different levels of the condition and each level comes with its challenges for the individual and those around them. Unfortunately there is limited resources and support provided by our health system and this breaks my heart to see.

I have taken on the challenge to captain the Odlum Brown Bulls Hockey team that will be participating in this very worthy cause. In previous years, The Odlum Brown Bulls have raised funds for Autism and then have the honour of playing with NHL Alumni in a tournament over the course of a weekend. This year we will be playing our Sunday game at Rogers Arena! This has to be everyones dream: playing on the big rink!
