This is Raffi Torres and I at last year's tournament. Last year we raised over $575,000 for the Canucks Autism Network (CAN), and hoping we can do even better this year.
Although autism effects tens of thousands of children in BC, there is no one way to treat the condition. Treatment is highly individualized - one of the most effective modes of expression is through sport.
Held January 24-26 at Rogers Arena and Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre, the tournament will raise vital funding for Canucks Autism Network (CAN).
CAN is a provincial leader in sports & rec programming for individuals & families living with autism. They are committed to promoting autism acceptance, understanding & inclusion through community engagement & training initiatives across BC.
By participating in the CAN Pro-Am, I will be helping to ensure that thousands of individuals with autism can also enjoy the thrill of sports province-wide!
Please join me in making a difference.
