How can you help support our staff and patient families during the COVID-19 crisis?
Thanks for asking!
We’ve received numerous inquiries asking what our caring community can do to support the medical center during this difficult time.
For infection control reasons, we are currently not able to accept any donations of cards, toys, crafts, games, books, etc. This includes food items to support our care teams.
Here are five other ways you can help our patients and care teams:
- Send a message to a caregiver
Our teams are working harder than ever to protect kids during the COVID-19 crisis while also continuing to provide expert, compassionate care for children facing many other health challenges. Our staff would love to receive an encouraging message from you. Send your message now.
- Support patient families with a donation to our Charitable Care Fund
As orders to stay at home are enforced, many parents are facing additional hardships – job layoffs and diminished or lost health insurance. This fund provides financial support to working parents whose children have complex and multiple diagnoses which leads to high medical bills. Make a gift.
- Support our employees with a donation to our Employee Emergency Fund
This fund provides support to hospital employees facing a financial hardship due to an emergency. In response to the current COVID-19 crisis, additional grants are being made available to employees. Your support of this fund will help us better meet the growing demand for assistance. Make a gift.
- Register to be a virtual walker for Cincinnati Walks for Kids
During times like this, it’s important to take care of yourself and take care of your family. That’s why we’ve made the decision to make the 2020 Cincinnati Walks for Kids a virtual event. Whether you help raise funds for a particular clinical program or research area, or for the most pressing needs of the medical center, you’ll become a vital part of our care team! Register today.
- Donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We are accepting donations of PPE including:
- Healthcare gloves
