Read “Clouds: A Memoir” and start a book club to fight osteosarcoma
“Clouds: A Memoir” by Laura Sobiech
When Laura Sobiech found out her 17-year-old son Zach had just a year to live, she encouraged him to write letters to friends and family as a way of saying goodbye. Zach, a musician and songwriter, decided to write songs instead. One of them, “Clouds,” captured hearts and changed lives, making him an international sensation. “Clouds: A Memoir” chronicles the last year of Zach’s life and tells the story of how God used a dying boy from a small town in Minnesota to touch the hearts of millions.

“I was certain that I was not going to survive losing a child, but I survived it, not because of anything special about me, but by God’s grace. My point in putting this book out there is that if I can touch one life, if I can help one person in the way that Zach helped so many, I’m happy.”
