If you care about animal welfare causes or if you want to show you care about me, please join me as I try to reach my goal of $2,000 raised for the Charleston Animal Society. Since I joined the board a year ago, I've become even more confident in the impact this organization has on the broader community. It's bigger than the prevention of cruelty to animals - they help people who otherwise can't afford the care of their animals keep their beloved pets. They go into K-12 schools and help kids better understand animals and themselves (their program to help literacy in kids by reading to shelter dogs is one of my favorites). And so much more.
