Dance-A-Thon
My name is Kaleb Harmon, and I serve as the Public Relations Chair, Chaplain, and as one the Lieutenant Governor's of the North Carolina District West Junior Civitan Board. Over the past 4 years as a Junior Civitan, it has been an honor to see all that we do to affect and change the communities around us. I love being able to veiw all the service projects through Junior Civitan International, while also seeing the effect that we make on a district and local level. I am also the President of my home club this year, located in Shelby, North Carolina. I have had such an amazing experience serving in these capacities over the years! It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of an organization that dedicates so much of its time to serving the people around them. They offer opportunities for people all across the world to serve, in many different ways. I am asking that you take an opportunity to donate to this fundraiser and help change the lives of those suffering from developmental and intellectual disabilities. Even the smallest donation can make a big impact!
Dance-A-Thon is a six hour long dance marathon that includes multiple costume themes. These allow us to express ourselves and to connect with one another through dancing, singing, and much more. Not only are we raising money for the Civitan International Research Center (CIRC), we are also coming together as an international community. Donations from Dance-A-Thon go to the continued research of intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism, Alzheimers Disease, and Down Syndrome.
Thank you so much for your willingness to donate to this amazing cause and facility!
