The Coastal Bend Civitan is an organization of community members in the Coastal Bend, dedicated to helping others.

Civitan is a global organization of people who share a servant’s heart—a desire to give selflessly to people in need. Volunteers with Civitan build a sense of community through local projects and serve a greater cause by creating awareness and funding research for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

This fundraiser is to help the Civitan International Research Center for treatment and research of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

In addition to clinical research, Civitan scientists provide training and treatment through the Civitan-Sparks Clinics and the Civitan International Neuroimaging Laboratory.

People of all ages, interests, and backgrounds can find a place to serve in Civitan. It’s an organization with a rich history and a vision for a better tomorrow and that is why I am fundraising!
