Welcome to My All In Summit Page/Kinley Zeigler Cardinal District
Hi! My name is Kinley Zeigler and I am the Governor of the Cardinal District Junior Civitans for the 2021-2022 year! I am a junior at George Washington High School in Charleston, West Virginia.
I joined Junior Civitans in middle school as a 6th grader and discovered an amazing organization with people my age dedicated to serving their community. As an 11-year-old, I did not expect to learn just how much of an impact one person can make in the world and even just in their own backyard. Junior Civitans has unlocked numerous opportunities for me to grow as a person and as a leader. It has taught me to look beyond my comfort zone and explore my personal development of initiative, leadership, and service.
As governor, one of my objectives is to raise money for the Civitan International Research Center (CIRC). This center helps to research treatment for intelectual and developmental disabilites in which there is still so many unknowns. CIRC is a prime example of Civitans' dedication to service.
Each year, governors from all over meet in Birmingham, Alabama at an event called All In Summit. It is a weekend to further our leadership and service skills as well as a chance for us to meet other Junior Civitans, acknowledging how vast our organization really is. Each participant must raise a fundraising minimum to attend and take part in this incredible opportunity.
I have set a personal fundrising goal of $2,000 to support the CIRC and would greatly appreciate your support! Knowing I am making a difference in someone's life is an incredible feeling and I hope you will join me as I strive to meet this goal. Your support in my efforts as I develop my leadership and service skills as well as my progression in my unwaivering support for the CIRC and the great work they do would be greatly appreciated!
