For four years, I have been a part of Junior Civitan as I work with my community to improve the world. My numerous opportunities through this organization have made me a better leader, friend, and community member. I have had the privilege of serving as Secretary and President of my school’s chapter (Wake Leadership Junior Civitan), Secretary of the NCDE Board, Junior Co-Director of Region 3 District, and now International Vice President.

As a Vice President, I hope you will support my fundraising efforts for the Civitan International Research Center, with a goal of $1500. The Civitan International Research Center is a clinical and research center for developmental and intellectual disabilities, which affects 1 in 6 people. They work to create equitable healthcare plans and ensure that individuals with these disabilities have accessible resources. In February, I will attend the All-In Summit. This international conference brings together Junior Civitan members from all over the country to learn more about the Civitan International Research Center, as well as more leadership skills and more about Civitan.
