Hello! My name is Aiden Kim, and I am a junior at Sumter High School. Before I entered high school, I did not have a good idea of what it meant to be a productive member of my community. That was until my sister told me about the Junior Civitan club at the high school. She explained to me that it was a simple club where the members would carry out different projects to help out the community and lean about different ways to help better it. I decided to join, thinking it wouldn't be much. After the first community service project, I quickly realized how much I enjoyed giving back to the community and how many different ways it could be done. Going to the All-In Summit and learning about what is done at the Civitan International Research Center is one of those ways in which I can become a better-informed civitan and learn more about how to help my community. However, as much as it can help, there is a fee to raise that will go to funding the research center as a prerequisite to attend the summit. With your help, not only will I be able to attend and learn about the CIRC, the donations will also benefit the center by providing more money for research. I would very much appreciate any donations that can be made to this cause. Thank you!
