Welcome to My Personal Fundraising Page!
Welcome to my Junior Civitan All-In Summit Fundraising Page! All-In Summit is an annual convention held by Junior Civitan, an international service organization that I have been a part of for the last three years. The convention, taking place in Birmingham Alabama, is an opportunity for Junior Civitans to come together in the name of service and fellowship. It includes leadership workshops, a keynote speaker, and the opportunity to see the Civitan International Research Center, for which I am fundraising. The CIRC is a research center in Alabama focused on intellectual and developmental disabilities. In order to attend All-In Summit, I need to raise funds for this institution, my goal being $1500.
Please consider supporting me in my efforts! Junior Civitan has been amazing to be involved in for the past three years, as it has given me the opportunity to serve my community and meet others with my same passion for service. In serving as Co-President for my club, James Madison, and as this year’s Region 4 Junior Civitan Director, I’ve had the ability to help those in need locally and help others do the same in their own communities. Some notable projects I’ve participated in and helped implement include Meals on Wheels (making placemats for meals delivered to senior citizens in need) and JMHS’s Hypothermia Project (assembling kits for homeless). In attending All-In Summit, I hope to learn more about how I can increase our efforts to maximize the impact that Junior Civitan can have.
I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to support the research center, as intellectual disabilities are very close to my heart. I'm inspired by my brother, who is on the Autism spectrum. Watching him grow and navigate his life has made me realize the importance of caring for those different from me and pursuing what I’m passionate about. Fundraising for the CIRC is my way of fighting for him, and I hope you will support me in this effort.
With love,
Norah Vaudo
Region 4 Junior Civitan Director and JMHS Junior Civitan Co-President
