Hello! I am Neha Chandrasekar, a senior at George Washington High School, in Charleston, West Virginia. I have been a part of this remarkable Junior Civitans organization for four years, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to serve as the Region 4 Junior Civitans Director this year. Region 4 includes clubs from West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

Junior Civitans is a service organization, dedicated to creating positive impacts around the world. Young Civitans around the world, like me, are dedicated in volunteering towards helping people in various ways. As part of this initiative, I am raising money to support one of our major projects: fundraising for the Civitan International Research Center (CIRC). CIRC is an outstanding and highly advanced facility where cutting-edge research on the brain and intellectual disorders are taking place. From autism and Down Syndrome to epilepsy and Alzheimer's, the CIRC is constantly working to create change in affected families.

To ensure that the researchers at the center are equipped with the financial stability to create life-changing discoveries, I am fundraising for this organization. Your contributions will not only to help a sincere cause by offering financial support to the Civitans International Research Center, but you will also provide me with the invaluable opportunity to attend All-in-Summit! I am hoping to raise a minimum of $5,000, which would make me eligible for this everlasting opportunity.

All-in-Summit is coming up in February, and it's a leadership weekend where Junior Civitans from around the world gather in Birmingham, Alabama to learn more about the research at CIRC, volunteer, engage in fellowship, and serve the community. We depend on you to make these goals, a reality. Please spread the word and consider contributing to creating a hopeful future for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This experience will allow me to grow as a better leader and dedicated Civitan, where my passion to serve will continue.
