Hello Friends,

My name is Matthew McFarland and I am a senior at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in Mooresboro, NC. I've only been in the club for a few months now but discovering Junior Civitan's dedication of service to our community has inspired me greatly to take action in my community. Immediately I started working on service projects and helped my school in our attempt to win the trash bowl, AGAIN!

I am raising money for Civitan International Research Center (CIRC). If you don't know what that is, you can read more by clicking this link --> https://juniorcivitan.org/circ. I am also raising money to attend All-In Summit. This event allows for worldwide Junior Civitan members to convene in Alabama for great experience in leadership, service, and all around fun! During our stay in Alabama, we get to visit the CIRC and get to participate in many cool service projects, attend meetings, and I've even heard that people have gotten to hold a real human brain! Fundamentally I am curious and this experience will not just support my curiosity but truly promote it.
