Hello, my name is Imani Lewis - Durant and I am a freshman at Sumter High School. This is my first year in Junior Civitans. I decieded on this club because I was apart of my middle school's National Junoir Honor Society chapter and the community service that we did there influenced me to continue my journey here. Outside of the club I also participate in my school's choir, Starfish Club, and would like to be apart of student government. I also want to start a non-profit with my friend which will benefit kids around the world. I am a straight A student and would describe myself as hard working and determined to succeed. I am an honors student and would like to take AP classes and do duel enrollment in the futrue. After high school I plan of attending the Unverisity of South Carolina and major in elementary education while minoring in psychology or math. I hope to obtain my Doctorate and eventaully work my way to the State Broad of Education.
