Civitan is a global organization of people who share a Servant’s Heart—a desire to give selflessly to people in need. Volunteers with Civitan build a sense of community through local projects and serve a greater cause by creating awareness and funding research for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at the Civitan International Research Center. About Junior Civitan 

Junior Civitan International was established as an official program of Civitan International in 1939. Junior Civitan is a service club that trains young people to become “Builders of Good Citizenship” in the home, school and nation. Its purpose is to develop initiative and leadership in order to encourage youth to live a fuller life enriched by unselfish service to others and with a commitment to make the world a better place.
