Our Organization

Community Matters: Insurance Partners of Charlotte was formed in 2011 by a group of local insurance and risk management executives. Our overall objective is to maximize the impact of our industry's outreach efforts in Charlotte.

The alliance now includes local insurance brokers; carriers; independent agents; TPAs; risk managers; and local insurance groups like CPCU and the Insurance Professionals of Charlotte.

Community Matters has two specific goals. First, the group picks specific charities to help -- we're currently working with Charlotte Rescue Mission in their battle against alcohol and drug addiction.

Second, Community Matters has become a place where the industry can come together and showcase all the worthy initiatives each employee and firm -- and the industry as a whole -- does for the local community.

Our 2018 fundraising campaign begins with our Dodgeball Tournament, followed by group and local fundraising efforts.

Charlotte Rescue Mission will also be actively involved in a campaign to education people about addiction.
