Learn how to prepare voucher specimens and survey for rare plants with the California Native Plant Society! CNPS staff will cover the basics on how to conduct rare plant field surveys, collect specimens, press plants, and create specimen labels. The workshop will include classroom training and a field component (weather permitting). 

Bring a pencil or pen to take notes. The target audience is currently enrolled students and recent graduates (within a year). If space allows, we may allow other members of the community to participate.
