Open Hands Overflowing Hearts is committed to funding research for childhood cancer.

When Kayla Funk was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in 2013, OHOH discovered that childhood cancer research receives less than 5% of federal cancer research dollars. OHOH decided to help by supporting cutting-edge research both locally and nationally and partnering with families affected by cancer along the way.

Now, with Children’s of Alabama, OHOH will continue funding cancer research through their Developmental Therapeutics Program. The program depends on you to be able to serve Alabama’s children through your support of their life-giving work.
