He’s spent long hours at Children’s of Alabama hospital in Birmingham, undergoing three years of chemotherapy which led to a remission, then three more years of chemotherapy. This was followed by spinal surgery to correct problems from medication and a bone-marrow transplant in 2014 that’s shown positive results.In 2017 Fuller competed in Food Network’s “Chopped Junior” competition. Fuller, 13, defeated three competitors to earn the title of “Chopped Junior Champion” by creating three dishes from mystery ingredients within a 30-minute time period for each round.
