Your gift to the Nigeria Crisis Fund will support a comprehensive emergency response and recovery program assisting
Ekklesiyar Yan'uwa a Nigeria (the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria) and other Nigerians made homeless and suffering from the
attacks of Boko Haram. Since 2014 the response has provided temporary shelters, emergency food and household supplies, clean
water and sanitation and trauma healing programs. Your gift today will help families on their journey home by providing home
repair kits, seeds and tools for agriculture, livelihood programs and continued trauma healing programming.
$40 provides seeds and fertilizer to a farming family
$300 provides a roofing kit for a small two room house
$500 provides a roofing kit for a 3 room house
$4,000 provides a three day trauma healing workshop
Donations by check can be made payable to “Church of the Brethren - Nigeria Crisis Fund” and mailed to Church of
the Brethren, 1451 Dundee Ave, Elgin IL 60120.

Beginning January 1, 2017, contributions to restricted funds, such
as the Nigeria Crisis Fund, will include a Ministry Enablement Contribution of
9 percent to help cover costs of carrying out the intended purpose of the gift.
Grants, endowment additions, and bequests will not be assessed the Ministry
