3 steps to a better politics

President Obama just endorsed three key reforms millions of Americans have been calling for to restore balance to our democracy: (1) a constitutional amendment to get big money out of politics; (2) non-partisan redistricting reform to stop gerrymandering politicians, and (3) expanding participation with reforms like automatic voter registration.

Getting those enacted would be a major step forward toward unlocking the true potential of our democracy, starting a small-d democratic revolution that puts voters -- not special interest donors -- in charge.

It’s an agenda worth fighting for. Take our pledge and promise to stand with us >>

And with anti-voter forces already mobilizing to block the vote this year, we need everyone who can to fight back. Just check the box to the right and we'll be in touch with volunteer opportunities as they arise.

TAKE THE PLEDGE: I'm in. I'll educate myself and start conversations with my friends and family about the issues. I'll contact my elected officials and tell them where I stand on these democratic reforms. And I'll actively participate by voting in the upcoming elections and encouraging everyone I know to do the same.
