Support Student Access to the Ballot

Help Oregon students pass Senate Bill (SB) 1586 before the session ends. The Oregon Senate just passed the bill. It now goes to the house, which must pass it this week before the 2016 session ends.

SB 1586 would grant access to Oregon student governments to provide nonpartisan voter registration and civic engagement services at student orientations and campus housing. By ensuring that students can engage other students where they’re most likely to get involved, the bill encourages student participation in the electoral process.
