Celebrate Sunshine Week by shining a light on Massachusetts government!

Sunshine Week, an annual nationwide celebration of open government and political transparency is here again, and we're proud that this year we are incredibly close to fixing our broken freedom of information law in Massachusetts!

A committee is currently just weeks away from reconciling the reform bills passed by the House and the Senate into final legislation. Once that's done, it will go the Governor for his signature. We need to keep working right until the end and make sure this reform strengthens enforcement of the law, limits costs for access to public information, and ensures responses to requests occur in reasonable time.

Take action for Sunshine Week and tell the conference committee to make sure Massachusetts has an open records law worth celebrating!
