Make sure every eligible Connecticut voter has the opporuntiy to vote.

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) ensures that all eligible citizens receive the opportunity to register to vote when they pass through motor vehicle or public assistance offices. However, there are concerns of “widespread noncompliance” with that law in Connecticut.

It shouldn’t take a threatened suit from the Department of Justice to get the DMV to do its job. With a major election tomorrow, we have the power to prevent this registration failure.

Demand Governor Malloy, the Secretary of State, and the DMV Commissioner  to work together to ensure that all state agencies comply with the law.
