Stop the Modern Day Poll Tax in Ohio

Last week the state legislature passed a bill making it harder to extend polling hours in case of problems at the polls or weather emergencies.

Weather emergencies or power outages, to unstaffed polling places and malfunctioning machines— all of these are reasons why voting hours are extended. No voter is immune from one of these problems potentially interfering with their ability to vote, no matter their location, age, or party affiliation.

Governor John Kaisch should immediately veto this outrageous bill!
