New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman stepped up with two important action in recent weeks.
First, the AG’s office provided local governments with legal tools to protect immigrant communities. On January 27th, Schneiderman moved to join Common Cause New York’s lawsuit seeking to protect the rights of New York voters. The lawsuit seeks to restore the voting rights of New York City voters who have been improperly removed from the voter rolls in violation of Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA).
Let Attorney General Schneiderman know you approve of these actions and remind him to continue to be a strong guardian of our democracy.
If you take action and have not already registered, you will receive periodic updates and communications from Common Cause.
Thank you for standing up for democracy
