Generation Vote NYC

Common Cause New York is teaming up with Rock the Vote to tackle the growing issue of low voter turnout in local elections, especially among millennial voters. Through this unique partnership, we have established Generation Vote NYC, a project with the purpose of engaging and informing young voters in all five boroughs of New York City.

Throughout the summer and fall, we will be developing voter guides, co-hosting candidate forums, phone banking, and organizing voter registration drives – all in the name of empowering New York City’s young voters.

In order to increase voter participation and civic engagement among young voters at the community level, we rely on our passionate Community Partners and Supporting Partners (list in formation), who provide on the ground support for our mission.
