The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is waving a
white flag in the long-running struggle over who controls, and who profits from,
the movement of information online.
The FCC’s so-called net
neutrality proposal is anything but neutral. It would allow Internet service providers to create fast lanes for the privileged few and leave everyone else with extremely slow Internet access. And a fast lane for the deep-pocketed means a slow lane for everyone else,
including alternative and independent sources of news.
Tell the FCC to protect net
neutrality. Support a free and open Internet by adding your name to our
