Every American citizen deserves a voice in our
democracy, but right now 4.4 million Americans who work, live and pay taxes in
their communities can’t vote because of previous convictions.
Shutting this many people out of our democracy,
half of whom are African-American, is positively un-American.
Restoration Act, currently before
Congress, would fix that by restoring federal voting rights to anyone who’s
served his or her sentence.
Contact your lawmakers right now and ask them to
co-sponsor the Democracy Restoration Act!
