Make a Gift of Hope Today
Your gift gives children hope this holiday season.
Like most rare diseases, juvenile myositis research is only made possible by friends and families like you.
Juvenile myositis is a run-away immune response where the body attacks itself.
Current treatments are life-saving but can often be worse than the disease itself. Steroids and chemotherapy cause years of nausea, days spent in the hospital, and harsh side effects.
You can help children get back to being kids again.
Please make a gift to help us reach our family's fundraising goal.
Gifts will be matched by the Coffey Family Match:
- Click "donate now"
- Checks can be made out to Cure JM and mailed to Cure JM, P.O. Box 45768, Baltimore, MD 21297, with our family's name in the memo
Your gift will be put to work to:
- Find new treatments with fewer side effects, including baricitinib and other new drugs
- Fund research, including a new type of gene therapy and a groundbreaking study to determine what is happening inside individual cells
- Help patients get the best care by increasing the number of JM specialists and expanding our funded Clinical Care Network and Centers of Excellence to 20 locations
- Educate doctors and families by distributing the latest treatment and diagnosis protocols, providing curated educational resources, and hosting a global medical symposium for doctors to learn the latest in JM care and research
Thank you.
Your gift gives children hope for a brighter future.
