Make a Gift of Hope Today: Benefiting Cure JM in honor of Jeremy!
Jeremy is a silly, brave, chocolate loving first grader who loves Mario, Jawas, Taekwondo, and playing with his brother. At the age of 2 1/2 he was diagnosed with juvenile myositis (JM). Over the past 4 years Jeremy has endured countless pokes for labs, all day infusions, and daily medications, but has maintained his positive attitude and has made great strides towards remission. We are hoping that with continued JM research, better treatments and remission for children like Jeremy can come sooner. The goal is to one day have a cure for JM. Your support will directly benefit the future of children with JM like Jeremy.
Let’s make sure all promising research never goes unfunded.
YOUR GENEROSITY CREATES POSSIBILITIES!
Juvenile myositis is a very rare run-away immune response where the body attacks itself.
The treatments currently used are life-saving, but can often be worse than the disease itself. Treatments used are steroids and chemotherapy, causing nausea, days spent in the hospital, and harsh side effects.
You can give children a better future.
Please make a gift to help us reach our family's fundraising goal.
Gifts will be matched by the Coffey Family Match:
- Click "donate now"
- Checks can be made out to Cure JM and mailed to Cure JM, P.O. Box 45768, Baltimore, MD 21297, with our family's name in the memo
Your gift will be put right to work to:
- Find new treatments with fewer side effects, including baricitinib and other new drugs
- Help patients get the best care
- Educate doctors, parents, and patients on the latest in treatments and care
- Fund innovative new research, including investigating a new type of gene therapy and a groundbreaking new study to determine what is happening inside individual cells, to better target treatments
THANK YOU!
Your gift gives children hope this holiday season.
