Make a Gift of Hope Today: Benefiting Cure JM in honor of Leighton!
Your gift gives children hope this holiday season.
At the age of 6, Leighton was diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis. JDM is a rare autoimmune disorder that constricts her blood vessels, cutting off blood flow to her muscles and skin.
The treatments currently used are life-saving, but can often be worse than the disease itself. Treatments used are steroids and chemotherapy, causing years of nausea, days spent in the hospital, and harsh side effects.
Leighton is a vibrant little girl and has not let her diagnosis stand in her way. She’s a talented gymnast, looking forward to competing in the upcoming 2023/2024 season. While she has had some challenging days, she’s had many good days.
You can give children a better future.
Please make a gift to help us reach our family's fundraising goal.
