Join us in supporting Cure JM research - Walking for John!
John began his journey with fighting Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM) 5 years ago, at just 18 months old. This past year has been our most challenging yet starting when John was hospitalized last August from side effects of one of his medications. After discontinuing that drug, he began monthly infusions of IVIg that are very time consuming and just plain hard for a 6 year old. John has been nothing but brave and inspiring as he's endured numerous doctor's visits, blood draws, and medications to keep his symptoms at bay and stop it from spreading. While there is currently no cure for JDM, we continue to support research for better treatments and hopefully one day a cure!
We are celebrating Cure JM's 20-year anniversary by walking strong to Cure JM and hope you will join and support our team.
