Making Poverty History

Making Poverty HistoryMaking Poverty History (MPH) replaces the now out-of-print What Do You Know about Hunger? Like its predecessor, MPH is a collection of simulations, skits, and worship activities around the issues of hunger and poverty. A useful resource for CROP Hunger Walk teams, Blankets+ Program event planners, women’s groups, youth groups, scouts, and so on.

The various activities are organized around the major themes of the Millennium Development Goals: Hunger and Poverty, Education, Health, Environment/Water, and Partners in Development. Each section contains a few facts on the MDG theme, a story from the work of CWS addressing the theme, and then assorted interactive ways to engage people on that theme.
