Well Beyond Blue

Campaign to Change the Definition of Wellness

Have you ever wished that you could tell the people who research, develop and regulate medical product treatments for depression what outcomes are important to you? Have you ever thought that these researchers, developers and regulators just don’t get it?

Well we have. That’s why DBSA has kicked off the Well Beyond Blue initiative. This multi-year campaign is designed to enable you to get your thoughts and opinions on wellness directly to the decision-makers who design and regulate research on medical products to treat depression.

Through the online Supporting Wellness survey and a November 16, 2018 meeting with FDA officials, people living with depression are empowered to have a voice in the development of new treatment options. Both of these activities provide peers with the opportunity to articulate how depression affects their daily lives and describe the outcomes they are seeking from treatment.

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to have your voice heard by decision makers in these areas.

The Meeting
The November 16, 2018 meeting is designed so you can help researchers, developers and regulators understand

  • what individuals living with depression experience,
  • how we define wellness, and
  • what we perceive as the potential risks and benefits associated with treatment.

Don’t wait, register today to attend the in-person meeting or participate remotely via a live web-stream.
