Welcome to My Personal Page!
On Saturday, May 11, I will participate in the 11th annual Damon Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium. In 2015 I had a kidney transplant and in 2016 lost the ability to walk. Thanks to Church Hill Physical Therapy in Newtown, I have regained my ability to walk. During my fight a four time cancer survivor, my close friend Lisa Cabral, has been one of my main pillars of support, so on May 11 I return the favor. I am also walking in honor of my Uncle Ralph, who lost his battle in 2014, my cousin Jill Carroll’s daughter Paige, as well as my own mother who continues to battle. I am also walking in honor of a very good friend, Jennifer Wallberg who was just diagnosed and is beginning her fight. I also had a mild case of skin cancer in 2017. Took me three years to regain the ability to walk but yet here I am!
100% of the money I raise will be used by the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to fund innovative research by today's most brilliant young scientists, who are racing to find the causes and cures for all types of cancer.
Please make a donation that supports my run/walk.
You can choose the amount you want to give – all donations are gratefully received!
Thank you for your support.
