Welcome to My Personal Page!
On World Cancer Day (Feb 4th, 2007) I was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. After almost a year of chemotherapy, amazing doctors, nurses and support of friends and family I beat the disease. Ironically on February 4th 2019, 12 years to the day, I was diagnosed with a chronic blood cancer called Polycythemia Vera. Extremely less invasive than my previous diagnosis - but isn’t one blood cancer enough?!- You all know how much this has affected me in the past but also again recently. Come join! If not, consider donating to a great cause and foundation. 100% of the proceeds go to Cancer research in hope for one day finding a cure for all!
On Saturday, May 11, I will participate in the 11th annual Damon Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium – a unique fundraising run/walk that uses the Stadium as its course. I'll get to explore the concourses and ramps, climb stairs between levels, and take my own victory laps around the warning track that circles the field.
Everyone has been affected by Cancer whether it’s directly or knows someone who has been affected by it. Come join me for the run! If not, please consider donating to a great cause and foundation. 100% of the money I raise will be used by the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to fund innovative research by today's most brilliant young scientists, who are racing to find the causes and cures for all types of cancer.
Please make a donation that supports my run/walk.
You can choose the amount you want to give – all donations are gratefully received!
Thank you for your support.
