On Saturday, July 29, I will "run" the Damon Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium – a unique fundraising run/walk that uses the Stadium as its course. I won't get to take any victory laps around the warning track, but I will end up running more than 3.1 miles that day. This year I'm "running" this 5K in honor of Ben and in memory of Bret. And to honor all those we have lost to cancer or are facing the disease right now.

100% of the money I raise will be used by the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to fund innovative research by our brilliant and amazing young scientists, who are racing to find the causes and cures for all types of cancer.
