Welcome, and thank for choosing the Dumb Friends League to help you honor your loved one. After you create your fund, your memorial page will be available immediately on this site. You can access the Champion Center to customize the memorial page, make changes to the fund information and settings, as well as send emails to friends and family about the memorial fund.

Create a Memorial Fund

As the creator of this memorial fund, you are its Champion. The person or pet to whom you are paying tribute is the "Honoree." Please complete the information below to create your memorial fund.

The following image shows how the content elements are arranged on your default fund page. As you work with the sections below, the corresponding section in the image will highlight to indicate where that information will be located on the default fund page layout.


Your Fund Page: Your Fund Page:


The fund name you enter here will be the title of your memorial page (i.e. "In Memory of John Smith," or "Remembering Fido," etc). You can edit this name at any time from the Champion Center.




Include personal stories and special memories of the person or pet you're honoring. You can add more to this section later in the Champion Center.




Select a picture to display on the memorial page. You can change the image later in the Champion Center. To show more pictures, you can create and link to photo albums from the Champion Center.


Upload a Picture for Your Fund Page:

1. Prepare your image.
Images must be .gif, .jpg, or .png files. Files with a .jpg or .png type will be automatically resized to fit in a 225 x 300 pixel space. The maximum acceptable file size is 1.5 Mb.

2. Select the file.
Enter the name of the file on your computer or use the Browse button to select the file.

If unable to access browse button, press enter key here to launch the browse dialog..

3. Click the upload image button.



The fund description will display with the fund name in search results to help distinguish this fund from other funds with similar names. You can enter small details about the Honoree (for example, city of residence, a nickname or family name, etc). You can edit this later in the Champion Center.




A fund page that is private does not display in search results. Only those people to whom you send a link or know the URL of your page will be able to view your fund page if you mark it private.
