As I approach my big 40 this April, I have decided to celebrate by hiking the 80 miles to Everest Base Camp (EBC) in Nepal, at elevation 5364 meters, or 17,598 feet.

To make my birthday trip more memorable and meaningful, I'm fundraising for the Davis Phinney Foundation. This organization helps people with Parkinson's live well today.
