Fundraiser for Scott and his journey with Parkinson's
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm dedicating this fundraising to my Dad. Scott was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2018 and has been fighting ever since.
Scott has always been a runner. If you know him, you'll notice every other shirt he has is a race day shirt for a running event / fundraiser. After his diagnosis, he boosted his exercise to run, bike or swim everyday. One of the best things you can do to keep your body moving and combat muscular rigidity symptoms is exercise. To this day, 6 years later, he is still swimming or biking daily. Truly an inspiration to those around him with a similar diagnosis. While he misses running and doing triathlons dearly, Team DPF is here to fill in. I am running the Colfax Half Marathon on May 19th and will be fundraising throughout all the training and on race day.
The Davis Phinney foundation means a lot to my Dad and my family as the foundation has provided helpful resources and hosted seminars to show the best ways to live life with Parkinson's.
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate your support! Any amount helps.
